LGBTIQ+ Health Australia
Our Mission

Our Mission

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA), founded in 2010, is the national peak body for LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, intersex, queer and other sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people. LHA members contribute a wealth of diverse expertise, capabilities, and capacities to the organisation. Together, we serve as a formidable and trusted voice. LHA is guided by four foundational pillars of work: policy and influence, member engagement and support, partnerships and collaboration, and the national facilitation of capacity building programs. We recognise that people’s genders, bodies, relationships and sexualities affect their health and wellbeing in every domain of their life.
