About The IWEC Foundation
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Globally
The International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation (IWEC Foundation) is a 501c(3) registered nonprofit organization with headquarters in New York City. As a global initiative, we provide market intelligence, networking, educational, and mentoring opportunities for successful women business owners. We support them in gaining and expanding access into international markets and in growing their visibility and brands. Our partners are chambers of commerce and global women business organizations.
Since its inception, the IWEC Foundation’s network has grown to a vibrant group of 337 successful women business owners from 40 countries. We believe that closing the gap between female and male entrepreneurship not only fuels economic growth but also drives the social and cultural empowerment of women everywhere.
We Elevate Successful Female Owners of Midsize Businesses
The IWEC Foundation presents a worldwide forum for the exchange of knowledge, experience, visibility, and connectivity among women business owners, setting the stage for new opportunities and joint ventures, and promoting social dialog among women entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Empowering Female Entrepreneurs Through Global Opportunities
Our Mission Is to Provide and Continue to Grow a Global Network That Drives Women’s Entrepreneurial Empowerment.
Since the IWEC Foundation’s inception on 2007, our goal has been to support successful midsize women-owned businesses in gaining and expanding access into international markets and in growing their visibility and brands.
